Our suite of employment law and human resources Services
Employment Law Services
We offer a comprehensive and professional legal advice and representation service in all aspects of employment law. This support extends to full representation in the employment tribunal. We have a particular expertise in the conduct of complex workplace disciplinary and grievance investigations. The proprietor, Nigel French, a qualified lawyer, has over 30 years experience in the field. Let us also help you with those smaller (but in law important) areas such as minimum wage questions, working time queries and unpaid wages claims. What about work permits, criminal records, and the significance of probation? We can help with all of these, leaving you to get on with running your business.
Human Resources Consultancy Services
Our consultants are CIPD or Master’s Degree Level qualified in human resources management. We provide advice and support in all areas in the field, from recruitment through to termination of employment. This includes the provision of practical, cost-effective solutions, tailored to the requirements of your organisation. Our business model is flexible, and includes retainer arrangements, ad-hoc advice as necessary, or specific project work. Find out more about our services below and contact us in order to establish the most appropriate level and scope of support.
We recognise the importance of employers being able to demonstrate full legal compliance with current legislation and codes of practice. All employers must issue staff with a written statement of terms and conditions of employment within the 8 weeks of employment. We will work with you to create any organisational documentation in accordance with your business and industry specific requirements. Our expertise extends to contractor agreements, and legally binding settlement agreements. All of our contractual documentation is written and approved by our qualified employment lawyers, so you can have peace of mind.
Training and Development
Our programmes are designed to maximise practical learning and encourage problem solving. People are an organisations most valuable asset, whether your business is a small or large employer so understanding how to maximise the potential of this relationship is crucial to business success and survival. Passing on practical experience of problem solving and an understanding of your legal obligations are at the centre of our programmes whether you are already an established Human Resources Manager looking to expand your knowledge, or a business owner looking to learn the fundamentals.
